  • Just finished watching the new “documentary” Less is Now from The Minimalists and tbh I am pretty disappointed. Thankful that it was only 50 minutes.

  • My biggest question about the new M1 Macs is whether they have the U1 chip.

  • Fingers crossed at least one new Mac unveiled on the 10th has rounded screen corners🤞🏻

  • Even to hear the teachings is something very rare, which only happens once in aeons. That you have met the Dharma now is not just coincidence. It results from your past positive actions. Such an opportunity should not be wasted. If your mind is in accord with Dharma, you will not experience any problems with the things of this life; while if you are constantly preoccupied with your ordinary pursuits, your problems will increase, and nothing will be accomplished. • When Apple has online advertisers filing anticompetitive complaints against them, you know they must be doing something right.

  • Even savoring my desires, I never feel content.

All the pleasures that I’ve experienced

    From birth till now

Would not satisfy me, even if they returned.
This mind is addicted to desire.
If I’m not even securing this life’s happiness in this way,
How will I ever achieve the nirvāṇa I seek
Which ensures benefit that lasts through all lives?
So, I’m done following the desire highway.
O dear heart, we can do it:
Let’s abandon these desires and get to the wildwoods.

  • Does anyone have a good alternative to PDF Expert for annotating PDFs? I just need/want something that allows me to use the Apple Pencil to annotate, and opens documents from iCloud using Open in Place (or whatever it’s called, I’m not a developer). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I Lived Through Collapse. America Is Already There.

Today I assume you went to work. Bad news was everywhere, clogging up your social media, your conversations. Maybe it struck close to you. I’m sorry. Somewhere in your country, a thousand people died. I’m sorry for each of them. A thousand families are grieving tonight. A thousand more join them every day. The pain doesn’t go away, it just becomes a furniture of bones, in a thousand thousand homes.

  • Reeder 5 I am very much looking forward to this. Hoping the cloud is a teaser for iCloud sync for feeds so I don’t have to use third-party service like Feedbin

  • While it seemed kind of lazy, it turns out that developers who just directly ported apps to iPadOS with minimal, if any changes to the interface, e.g. Clip Studio Paint, did themselves a huge favor and will save so much time porting from iPadOS back to Apple Silicon Macs.
